New York, New York! (and Savannah, Georgia)

Maybe it’s because I’ve always felt that all the “cool kids” do it, but a business trip to the US was something that was always on my bucket list. Well, I got lucky and joined my new workplace just in time to join the all-employees camp in Georgia, USA. And as I’m already headed across the Atlantic Ocean - for the first time - I decided to take advantage of the opportunity and get to know New York City as well.

Here are some interesting facts I learned while I was there:

• The people of Georgia are very proud of their peaches
• The people of Savannah tend to hangout in cemeteries, but in a completely normal and not vampire-creepy way
• There is a Sesame Street in New York City
• The Statue of Liberty is actually not in New York, but in New Jersey
• The bull statue that is so associated with Wall Street is not on Wall Street
• There are three avenues between 3rd and 5th avenues in Manhattan, which makes no sense at all
